Dusty's Bistro

On Partner in Crime's recommendation, we went to Dusty's Bistro for a late lunch/early dinner.

Tartare is a preparation of finely chopped raw fish (or meat) that is typically served as a spread for toast. Mmm ... love the raw fish ... So ordered the Tartare Duo, which was Ahi Tuna & Salmon over avocado salsa, served with crispy wontons.

This duo was good -- really good. I am a huge tuna fan so I knew I would like half my plate, but depending on how it is served, I can usually take or leave salmon. However, this tartare has me considering a friendlier relationship with salmon.

Partner in Crime ordered the Steak Salad. Gorgonzola cheese, endives, tomatos, green beans, potatoes, and steak in a red wine vinaigrette. It was tasty, the steak was tender, but the potatoes were pretty bland. Trust me, I stole several so it wasn't just a fluke potato.

Considering the place was pretty empty, service was a little slow, but they had had plenty of bread and butter to keep us occupied.

All in all, a good experience. Would let Partner in Crime take me back.
